Dammit, I'm not going to learn the periodic table again. Ungh.
Condi and Juan used to date.
It did not take long for Condi to discover that Juan had less going for him then the dead lobster on Condi's plate, and she dumped him.
TADA! Mixed Politically Correct Metaphor of the Day prize goes to....JOE BIDEN!
"It's like the blind leading the hearing impaired".
Heh.
I guess the blind aren't visually impaired, eh?
Thanks! Just as I remembered it.
Good old Al Gore. Supporting the highest bidder.....
The cut and run bunch.
He also referred to the Iraq war as a sectarian war.

Per why Secretary Rice is on.
As far as FNS goes, Condi seemed to be heading off criticisms the White House is anticipating. She also was vocal in support of the military, something not as often done by the SOS. She did well in spite of Wallace trying to play got-cha.
I agree. Gore sounds loonier than ever. George gives him at least 2 opportunities to pull back and moderate his "oceans will rise 20 feet" stupidity, but, NOOOO, BIG Al (and I do mean big!) is too far gone to do it.
How could any serious party take this man seriously?! (But I am still asking that same question about most of their primary candidates in '04...)
gotta love that one! I hope conservatives are looking for a replacement for that jerk.
Good bumper sticker you've got there!
I hate ALL these shows...... this is all theatre to all of "us" who seem to be concerned about politics. We, just in my opinion are "stupid people" to waste our time dealing with it.
It's ALL BULL and a severe waste of time!
God Bless America.................. (and Gwenn Ifel ..... what a major league, glorious, one-world/anti-American/liberal demagogue, perfectly unattractive, suck-up PIG.
She knows politic-ing too, Morgan. On vote counting day when exit polls were predicting Kerry victory, Rice was one of the four crunching the numbers with Rove, Mehlmen & Card at WH crushing the exit polls.
Thanks anita, I didn't know Rice was doing that. Sharp woman, that's for sure. I know it's too early to claim how well she's doing as SOS but it sure appears she is doing a great job there. Every time I listen to her speak on something my respect for her increases.
If the decision to take Iran up on their offer to 'talk' was made by Dr. Rice, she has risen even higher in my estimation.
Did someone say earlier about Wallace getting more and more like Timmah each week?
And you replied (confirming your earlier post):
Sure did. And, he appears to be hell bent on proving my hypothesis ;-)
I would offer a variation on your hypothesis. He's not trying to mimic Timmah, he's trying to mimic Daddy.
Doubt anyone with smarts will be bashing Gore. He's going to be the one to give her heinous a lot of sleepless nights.
Not a bad point, bts. Which is why I follow this thread when I can but seldom watch the shows themselves. Those here who do watch them have stronger stomachs than I have, God bless 'em.
