As a side note, a reliable person told me today that the National Guard is getting ready to start building a fence not too far from me. It would be in a heavily trafficed area west of El Paso. This is the first I have heard of this, no mention in news reports that I have seen. We do already have National Guard troops that have been in the area assisting BP for a while- off and on since 9/11; this is not part of the new deployment that has been talked about recently.
If this turns out to be true, I will post more on it and pictures as I can.
