So here we have a violent criminal who discovered that he could manipulate a PC, heavily-protected lifestyle choice that has it's own special set of rights in order to gain asylum and wantonly destroy the lives of children in the U.K.

It makes me wonder how often this sort of thing happens here in the USA.  Considering the legendary "macho" culture of Mexico and other South and Central American countries, illegal immigrants in the USA could simply claim that they are homosexual and would face "homophobic persecution" if deported.  Idiot Leftist judges would love that....there's no scientific test to prove that somebody isn't gay and so they would see no reason not to accept such a defense. I'm sure that there are countless Leftist attorneys who will be delighted to suggest such an option to their illegal clients.

In this case the guy was more or less legal due to lying but in the case of illegals in this country sex assaults by illegals is at epidemic levels. The Violent crimes institute estimates that there are 240,000 illegal alien sex offenders in America with nearly 100 more arriving every day. They average 4 victims each.
