Yes, secure the borders first... deal with the illegals that are here.... logical... Building a 2000 mile wall won't work and will make us look like fearful isolationists... so America will never buy it... some walls, national guard, more border guards, use technology i.e., virtual fences these are good plans.... next deal with the 12 million plus here already.... hold employers accountable. Find them and deport them.. will take years and years... probably through my lifetime... so easier to offer some type of guest worker program...document them and get them on the path to citizenship... This is exactly the right (common sense) non-emotional, compassionate .. approach..
The illegals got here by themselves, if we remove the incentives for them to stay they will get home themselves as well.
