I know because I was there on a secret patrol that was sent into Haditha to drop off some CIA agents and witnessed this atrocity as it happened in fact I shot one of the teenage boys trying to run and escape for which I will receive the silver star when I write the citation but I will throw it all over the WH lawn just to get to sit behind the desk in the oval office... aaaaaaahhhhhhh
Personally, I think John Kerry and Murtha are Bi-Polar

The bodies will have to be exhumed to PROVE the Marines did this. Their weapons have been confiscated for ballistics matching HOWEVER the Iraqis will NOT allow the exhumation of the victims bodies because of religious reasons. That will simply require permission from the Iraqi government. Considering that they want to do their own investigation, I'm sure it won't be a problem, regardless of what whining the families raise.
Unless there are CONFESSIONS how can our Marines possibly be CHARGED much less convicted?
There's plenty of physical evidence laying around, to go along with whatever they've discovered by interro- ahem, interviewing the Marines that were on the scene that day. Bear in mind that there was the convoy, a foot patrol, and an intelligence team on that site that day, so they have plenty of potential sources of information. Whether or not the information points to guilt or innocence, we don't know, but there's plenty of it out there.

How would one link it to LGF's?
To: butternut_squash_bisque
It was staged and our US marines were set-up, IMO. Just wait until this unravels and see where the crap falls If we had a balanced press, it would fall all over the place. But, since we don't, you'll here it on talk radio, read about it a little here and on some blogs, and it will just go quietly into the night.

I read weeks ago the source was a jihadi. I'm sure others here knew months ago The supporting case, specifically the doctor who filled out the death certificates, also has a "history" with the Jihadies, and is likely one himself.

Looked at the source for this story - a blogger as of June 2006? Any other sources? Where did he get the story? From Reuters itself, the employer of the "reporter".

Their weapons have been confiscated for ballistics matching HOWEVER the Iraqis will NOT allow the exhumation of the victims bodies because of religious reasons. While Islam discourages exhumation, it is allowed for "important purposes". Apparently finding out who really killed your relatives isn't important enough. Certainly exonerating a bunch of Infidel Pigs isn't.
Of course the relatives have probably been "encouraged" in their intransigence by the same folks who placed the IED that started this whole incident.

I got my story from Reuters themselves. Reuters listed him as their source. I checked him out on BBC and it turns out that he had been arrested by US Troops. Reuters claims he was 'arrested' for trying to get his camera and phones back.
That stinks of BS so i jetted around the internet and peiced it together that the reason why he was trying to get the camera and phones back was because there was information that linked him to the insurgency on the camera. Which is REALLY why he was 'arrested' in the first place.
To: CheneyChick
Not that I doubt that it is true, but I'm leary of bloggers.Me too, especially Timothy and Dennis...
So I look to other sources.

I have an Irey/Murtha ping list. It's certainly very closely related, but may not be what HHK is looking for. Just FReepmail me to get on it! Cheers.

Something made him "snap" about 6 months ago. He gets very angry in every interview I see him in.Does he have Alzheimers, but has yet to be diagnosed with it, or ADMIT he's been diagnosed? What was going on six months ago? December/November?
Maybe this speech by President Bush, Dec. 19, 2005:
Last night I addressed the nation about our strategy for victory in Iraq, and the historic elections that took place in the country last week. In a nation that once lived by the whims of a brutal dictator, the Iraqi people now enjoy constitutionally protected freedoms, and their leaders now derive their powers from the consent of the government. Millions of Iraqis are looking forward to a future with hope and optimism.
The Iraqi people still face many challenges. This is the first time the Iraqis are forming a government under their new constitution. The Iraqi constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the parliament for certain top officials. So the formation of the new government will take time as Iraqis work to build consensus... whitehouse.gov
Maybe the old corpse is ticked that work in Iraq is actually succeeding. Also, it was just before Alito was confirmed.
