I wonder if mean-mouthed Murtha has read or heard about this! Someone knew enough to tell this child about it as she covered her ears before the explosion....but the Marines are portrayed as the bad guys here...go figure.
If the civilians become willing part of the cover and concealment of the enemy, they thereby become active combatants. In Viet Nam we had children ride bicycles with backpacks full of explosives (satchel bombs) so the could get close enough to the GI's to throw in a tent or something like that. What the left dosen't understand is that you can't fight a gorilla force with conventional methods and rules of engagement.
