drift to rational governance...a lot of the 'Muricans still think
the ghost of Trudeau has hold of your ship of state.

Loss of Canadian (or other) troops in Afghanistan get little

If I had to take a guess on why that may well HAVE been a planted story...............

The Canadian Police, Military, and Intelligence Agencies have been tracking terror suspects with equal zeal to what goes on in America. They likely knew through "chatter" that something was going on, and planted the story to cause some they suspected to make some moves to expose themselves.

I also tire of hearing those that would compare our Canadian Brothers on the border to those of Mexico, that is pure hogwash! ( I wasn't saying you have).

The Canadian Police and Military aren't working with criminals, terrorists, and drug smugglers on the border, they are working with Americans on this side, and both sides share an equal respect for the other.
