The tinfoil hatters won't believe it, they will blame Harper and say its a plot etc. etc. Unbelievable - most of the papers can't bring themselves to use the word terrorist either. It's going to take something bigger than this to wake up the liberalites in Canada.
There's a news conference this morning, should be interesting.
To: GMMAC
This story can't be right. Toronto is a liberal city, terrorists wouldn't hurt liberals./ sarc.

They did say it was a "home grown Al Qaeda cell". While I see your point, anyone who reads that article will know they were islamic.

Notice the lack of coverage of this major, breaking WOT story by America's msm?

Yes. The start of World Cup and a nice sequence of numbers that appeal to the jihadists. Couple this bust with the missing chem suicide belt in London and the new week has the ingredients to be interesting. I also fall into the camp that the Saudis who boarded the Florida bus were executing a dry run.
As I stated elsewhere, I'd feel better if the Yanks would stage a couple of raids this weekend.

I guess they think because it was in Canada that nobody here would care? But more likely they couldn't figure out how to bash President Bush with it.

News conference on CNN now. Not on Fox or others. Curious. 3 tons of Amonium Nitrate either found or trying to be aquired(I missed the details while switching around)...

3 tons of Amonium Nitrate "ordered and delivered". That's 3 times what took down the Murrow building.

Noticed that as well, CNN covering live, Fox and MSNBC not. 3 tons of A/Nitrate?! Only took 1 ton for the Oklahoma City bombing. This was very big...

06/06/06?
Food for thought, since they apparently focus on numbers.

They had the explosives.
BTW, as I've been on this story since last night via the Internet & can assure you America's msm is now - at best - playing catch-up.
Nothing anti-US in my last comment: when it comes to agenda-driven leftist media vermin, I merely call a spade a spade on both sides of the border.

On the bright side, can't help but think that middle-of-the-road Canadian voters will fall to the right on the strength of this bust.

"I thought that the Canadiens were all sensitive and liberal and therefore were immune to the naughty terrorists."
This whole thing should also show the liberal "be nicey nice and understanding", or "sensitive", to these scum, and the "culture" that produces these monsters won't bother you,...this SHOULD show these fools that NONE of us are safe. It won't. They will persist to believe the fairy tale that if we would be "nice" to terrorists, they'd be "nice" right back at us. Utter rubbish.
Those that practice islam, especially radical islam, HATE ALL of us, no matter what label our individual politcal systems place on us. The foolish Cindy Sheehan types refuse to believe that as soon as their usefulness to those seeking to conquer and destroy us is over, and radical islam is in place in all our countries, their stupid heads would be chopped off in a heart beat, while their murderers shouted out praise to their false god.

"now about that security on the Canadian/American border..."
There's more truth to that than you think. The traced at least a few of the 9-11 hijackers through the Canadian border, and then the New Year's Eve bust many years ago was stopped at the Canadian border.
Frankly, that one concerns me much more than the Mexican one.
