Cunningham resigned in disgrace and is doing jail time. What you're saying is that its o.k. to be a crook if the degree of crookedness is less than that of another crook? Perhaps its o.k. to be a crook if you're an africanhyphenamerican democrat because everyone knows they been oppressed for 455 years, is that it? Or, its o.k. to be a democrat crook if your name is Clinton or Kennedy (swimming or driving), or McKinney (as long as its a white cop you assault)? You need to go back to DU and crow about your enormous victory in logic here this morning. They're on the same wave length as you. Hell, you might be rewarded with some ringside seat tickets to a boxing event in Nevada.

I was not saying that it was OK to be a crook. I am saying that catching one democrat doing something illegal does not excuse the enormous graft of the past years. The article states that William Jefferson is now the poster-boy for Washington corruption. If there is any case of "Baghdad Bob" it would be that statement. That would be true if you just started following politics like last week. Obviously Jefferson is not going to be in Congress much longer. He was, however, just one man from the minority party, not in the leadership.

The reality is that I am more upset about:

1. Medicare Part "D" 2. Bankruptcy "Reform" 3. CAFTA

and other assorted criminal legislation than the 100K that was behind the ice cream, to the left of the fish sticks and on top of the Green Giant Frozen Corn.
