Now I see yer talking about the "Dr." thing.
Well, I guess worse was a camping/drinking trip I went on with an MD friend of mine (medical....not the 20/20 kind.)
He introduced me to another Dr. friend of his. On a weekend where we're all just essentially being kids again, the new guy corrected me twice on his first name and insisted on being called "Dr. [Lastname]" instead of first name basis out in the Tx. Stix.
As expected, my natural reaction was to just call him random first names from then on. "Oh, Sorry,Dale. Uh, Ted. Oh, whatever,Vern!"
Haha! I love it! I guess I could have more clearly directed my post. But honestly, there's no need for that kind of self-importance. Good for you for just joking around about it!
