So why is everyone mad at Tony for doing the job he was hired to do? The President, whom we've supported, makes the decisions, which we don't like! Just maybe, because in the very back of out minds some of us hoped Tony's wisdom or perspective would change George on this issue. Maybe we hoped Tony would wise up G.W. on this.
It was certainly a mistake if we hoped so.

I never had your thoughts beyond the sea. He was Governor of my state and I know that he stands rigid and stubbornly on what he believes, right or wrong.
