We have a problem here folks, and the website American Patrol had an interesting statement on it a few years ago,
"You won't know what kind of problem you have until you try to stop it!"
They are absolutely right!! Every time officials step up enforcement in an area of smuggling, violence erupts. That is when you hear about smugglers ramming BP vehicles, Mexican army protecting smugglers, and gun battles. If we make a serious attempt to secure the entire border, it will lead to much violence. Those who live on the border know this, but those who don't, including most politicians will be stunned at what will happen if we really secure the border. We have to secure the border now, no matter what it takes, it will not get easier if we continue to ignore the problem or make a half-baked effort.
