WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. military probe has exonerated U.S. troops in the deaths of Iraqi civilians in the town of Ishaqi in March, finding American forces followed standard procedures and committed no misconduct, defense officials said on Friday. Police in the town, 60 miles north of Baghdad, have said six adults and five children were shot dead in a U.S. military raid on a home on March 15.
But the U.S. military maintained that there were four dead in the incident, including a guerrilla, two women and a child, and they died after troops were fired upon from the house as they arrived to arrest an al Qaeda suspect.
The defense officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said an investigation found no wrongdoing by U.S. forces.

Of course the MSM will report this!
With sad, drawn faces and lowered voices of dissapointment at the "good news." Or perhaps with a title such as "Many question this verdict!"
You can't win with these libs!
To: FlingWingFlyer
Nah, he'll ignore it and keep to the company line.

"they died after troops were fired upon from the house as they arrived to arrest an al Qaeda suspect"
The scumbags are constantly pulling stuff like this - they hide amongst the women and children, then fire upon our troops, blow up IEDs in every civilian area, etc. The only things notable about civilian casualties in Iraq are (1) the tremendous restraint, caution, and precision displayed daily by our troops, at great risk to themselves; (2) the continual efforts by the scumbags to get their own women and children killed in firefights, using them as scouts and spotters, etc.; and, (3) the FACT that it is the scumbags who kill the vast vast majority of dead civilians in Iraq and they do so INTENTIONALLY with wanton malice and disregard for human life.
The fact that so many MSM-twits and allied bozos like John Murtha jump all over our Marines for mere allegations, when these same twits never lift a finger to investigate and critizice the constant terrorism from the Islamo-fascists, shows once again the real agenda of the left. 99.99% of our troops have never been involved even in any alleged wrongdoing, yet a John Murtha or an MSM-twit can work overtime to smear everyone as a way of attacking the WH and attacking the War on Terrorism.

would be very funny if it wasn't so true.
I hate the MSM. I heard someone on laura Ingrahm today say
"I trust our Marines. I don't trust our press."

I fully agree. This is getting to me how these people want to say how our combat Marines and Soldiers are doing something wrong when the lead is flying around them
and not the people that are saying they are doing something wrong. God Bless these young Men and Women that wear the uniforms of AMERICA.

Of course, this is the second one, which bubbled up yesterday. The press (and other traitors) still have Haditha to kick around for a while, yet. And this report won't quiet the cries of "Cover-Up!!"

This story will be given coverage for a day as a little side story.
Then AP-Jizzera, BBC, NY Slimes, Socialist Republic of Seattle-Times, MSNBC, ABC, CBS will continue its non-stop front page stories about comparing Iraq to My Lai and inventing even more and more outlandish reports about marines killing iraqis.

The Army's Criminal Investigation Division extensive examination has cleared U.S. troops of misconduct in the March 15 civilian deaths at Ishaqi, and the only ones who really need to be on trial are the Enemies of Democracy in the old media (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, BBC et all) who jumped on this story to spin it into a murderous My Lai massacre to pile on an orchestrated leftist hit against our American fighting men and women. The only resemblance to My Lai and Vietnam in this regard is the predictable anti-American party-line half-truths and lies of the old media who want to feed the same leftist propaganda dishonesty by means of the antics used in the 1960s which include, first, day after day portrayal of the leadership (President, or other representatives supporting military action) as covering something up to garner mistrust by the populace, next to undermine the will of the populace to fight or defend itself by constant drum beat of negative reporting that the purpose of the fight is of no value, and lastly when the old leftist media feels that have now softened up the populace and wearied them with incessant gloom such that the Enemies of Democracy now feel they can proceed with the most outrageous insult of all, an insult and lie for which they would have feared to take aim beforehand, they then proceed to attach the troops themselves as murderous monsters for which we need to turn on and put into prison.
This media which supported the communists in the 1960s and 70s and learned from Vietnam, know very well that the enemies of America who hide among their own populace and think nothing of killing families, women and children of their own people. The old media knows that such terrorists can easily foster and orchestrate such sham massacres to blame on America and the troops, and this hideous media and was then, and is now, counting on the enemy to provide them the means to do exactly what the enemy expects of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN et all, that this media will then exaggerate any minor incident and propagandize sham massacres in order to defeat America. That is exactly what this media wants, and now we see each step being taken, first to attack the leadership, then the purpose, then the troops themselves, each step carefully measured and phased in for impression and effect.
I call them Enemies of Democracy. That is what they are.
Will the media now apologize, will the disloyal politicians of the left now express regret for being the stooges of the enemy? Of course not! Just as the enemy does battle day by day upon us, so do they. If our troops are exonerated, the story will quickly be buried. We will only continue to hear of the next investigation, another photo of a dead baby, and a finger pointing at our troops.
I can tell you, what the leftist media is doing, is certainly not journalism, and in fact isnt even simply one-sided reporting. What it is, in its own way, is a form of intimidation. Intimidation may not sound like the right word, but it is. They want to take away from you all those who would protect you. In that way, you feel you are left alone. They not only want to make you feel alone, they actually want you to be alone. They want you and your family to be vulnerable. That includes you, your wife, your children, your baby. They do not care about a dead baby. In fact, if they get their way, dont be surprise if the dead baby is yours.
Will Bush now cancel his sensitivity training for our troops?
