Yep, she is running.
Ishaqi
This one was in March and Haditha was in November.
But at the same time, it probably meant that something bad happened in Haditha. That's why Pentagon is releasing bits of information regarding that incident.
Please call the traitors at AP and show them who they really are: Liars and Traitors.
"If Americans in the past worried more about being "good and decent," the colonists would not have won the War for Independence, the North would not have won the Civil War, and the allies would not have won either WWI or WWII."
Yessir.
I've been trying to make that point on this Forum for the past week. No matter how highly we evolve as a civilisation, the brutality, and finality of war does not change. It still requires tough, courageous men to do ugly, deadly things to our enemy before they can be done to us.
We'd better relearn quickly how to fight to win. Our current fiendish enemy certainly knows how the game is played.
U.S. troops cleared in Ishaqi raid probe

WASHINGTON - A military investigation into allegations that U.S. troops intentionally killed Iraqi civilians in a March 15 raid in a village north of Baghdad has cleared the troops of misconduct, two defense officials said Friday.
The investigation concluded that the U.S. troops followed normal procedures in raising the level of force as they came under attack upon approaching a building where they believed an al-Qaida terrorist was hiding, the officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the results had not been publicly released.
The Army's Criminal Investigation Division reviewed the results of the investigation and found no reason to probe further, the officials said.
The nighttime raid was conducted in the village of Ishaqi, about 50 miles north of Baghdad, by a ground assault force. After being fired upon from the vicinity of the targeted building, the soldiers called in airstrikes by an Air Force AC-130 gunship, which attacked the building, the defense officials said.
Local Iraqis said there were 11 total dead, and contended that they were killed by U.S. troops before the house was leveled.
The incident came months after an alleged massacre by Marines of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha last November. The military is still conducting two investigations into the Haditha case, one to see if U.S. troops committed crimes there and a second to see if the actions were covered up.
One defense official said the investigation into the circumstances of the Ishaqi attack found that four people in the building were killed by U.S. forces, including two women and a child. The main target of the attack, said by U.S. intelligence to be an al-Qaida figure, ran from the building but was later captured, the official said.
Footage shot by an AP Television News cameraman at the location showed at least five children dead and at least one adult male and four of the children with deep head wounds that could have been caused by bullets or shrapnel. The inside of the walls left standing were pocked with bullet holes.
Iraqi Police Capt. Laith Mohammed said the March 15 attack that hit Ishaqi involved U.S. warplanes and armor.
Riyadh Majid, who identified himself as the nephew of Faez Khalaf, the household head who was killed, told AP at the time that U.S. forces landed in helicopters and raided the home.
Khalaf's brother, Ahmed, said nine of the victims were family members who lived at the house and two were visitors.
That's what I think,too.
There's also an incident that occurred April 26 in which an Iraqi man was shot, then, according to reports, a shovel and an AK-47 was put near him to make it look as if he was burying a roadside bomb. That one is pretty serious, too. Seven Marines are in the bring at Camp Pendleton over that one. Charges are supposed to be filed on Monday.
Are you point out that the man who called Hannity is wrong, and that Murtha's district does not include Shanksville? A bit of text with your map would be helpful for those of us not familiar with the location.
Good for you! Bravo.
Just listening now to John Gibson on FOX...he played a clip (not sure when/where) of Rummy. I really have never heard him sound so somber..he said something like..Sometimes bad things happen and ...there is an investigation ongoing... etc. It really shook me- he did not sound good.
So thats 2 incidents that soldiers were cleared for any wrongdoing.
Now the MSM, CBS specifically are runnng stories about increasing outrage amongst Iraqis about civilian death by G.I.'s of course, not the insurgents. Looks like they are running the story regardless of the truth, they just wont give up until a soldier gets the death penalty or completely ruins soldier's moral. Good job media!! Way to go.
At the same time there was a story in which the Iraqis were impartial to civilains deaths by the G.I.'s because the terrorists kill dozens daily.
The name of the town is Ishaqi, and we have inquired about that report, and frankly the people in that town are fearful to talk about it and have told us to go to the Americans and that their findings are that Americans' version of things is correct and that they're very hesitant now to talk about that case. And so, we're very aggressively trying to find out why that is and what the status of the U.S. investigation is.
Sorry Nancy... you can now go fu_k yourself.
The prosecutor side of these thigns always leak to the press about their case (it is their way of trying to get a plea deal in many instances).

Charges mean nothing - SEALs were charged and run through the ringer for the supposed killing of an Iraqi back in 04 - The end game was all were acquitted of the charges of murder - Yet these brave warriors lives were ruined for over a year in the process because Prosecutors were completely overzealous (most who have never seen one second of actual combat).
You are strangely jumping from one case to the next trying to put our warriors in a bad light (but of course all under the guise of being "concerned") - Where are your posts showing "outrage" that the MSM would dare claim a massacre took place Ishaqi??? - Where is your outrage at those civilians who's stories were found to be completely false??
Ahh, we know where that post is of yours...now don't we.
