Anything is better than what the USAF uniform was changed into in the 1990s, courtesy of the Clinton-lover Gen McPeak.
None of the other services fiddle with their uniforms every decade or so except for the Air Force, which is I think suffering from a life-long identity crisis since being 'divorced' from the Army.
They ought to bring back the Khaki Army Air Force uniforms that were worn in WWII.
THAT would be a welcome change.

Those Billy Mitchell uniforms are sharp.
Ironic that they'd use his name, considering what happened to General Mitchell.

I have gone thru 4 different uniforms in my career...I do not want another and this one looks TOO much like the SS uniforms in my opinion.
Now dont go off sccreaming bloody murder at me for the comparison, but the close collar button down dark blue (to the point its almost black) makes it look either like I am in Hitlers German Air Force or an officer for Darth Vader.

These new uniforms will come with school teacher bells that they can ring in front of Walmart. Proceeds gained from such activity will go to offset rising jet fuel costs.

I like the belted look.
But what do they wear underneath the jacket?

Naaa. Too much like The Empire's uniforms in "Star Wars". Makes them look like bad guys. Kind of looks like some Communist countries' uniforms, too.

God, that looks like crap. The AF has been searching for "a distinctive" uniform since it was formed in 1947 and still haven't found one.
If I had my druthers I wish they would bring back the old 1505's, not 100% cotton so they were completely wrinkled by noon but perhaps a cotton/polyester blend. I always liked the khaki color with the blue belt and stripes.
