I was tolerant of Perry until this last money-grab. And now he's bragging about the biggest tax cut in texas history while keeping mum about the simultaneous biggest tax HIKE in Texas history.

A half-truth is a complete lie because it's intended to deceive.

I think I'll vote for the clown in the cowboy hat. Met him once when he was running for Sheriff of Kerr County. He lost.

There is no net tax hike, no matter how often you say there is.

Friedman is a joke. He intends to make Texas look like a joke, too, were he to be elected.

The "law" has been on the books for 25 years, and you're telling me that, just now, these knights in shining armor from Houston are going to save the state from those the citizens have elected to represent them?

No, I'm telling you that after witnessing continued examples of taxation without representation in the good ole boy back rooms, some patriots dug up a clause in the constitution that will force them to be accountable, in spite of pulling you and your pig tails toward justice.

Perry is not going to lose to either of those two jokers. All I'm saying is that Republicans have no business supporting either one of them.

LOL, no one (certainly not me) that I know of is suporting them!!! Maybe if you lean into their ears, cough up a lugie and hurl it toward their eardrum, a constituent can feel equally irate or offended as those who want to fry the entire military for being in Iraq, nevermind the murderous missions the media and democrats have eluded to.

Don't sweat it guys. Perry has a bunch of people assigned to monitor this site. Don't waste your time trying to go around them, they cannot change, as they are paid to kiss up to him.

We'll just see how Dan does in Dallas, and then we can all make the call as to whether Perry is a real conservative, or whether Dan is.

I know what I think, but I prefer to give Dan a chance to screw up first.

Bob Lanier, failed Democrat Houston politician, once again shows why he is no longer in Texas politics.

Paranoia is a mental illness, Bob. Get help.

Aren't most of those being sued Republicans? Even Glenn Beck (by far the funniest conservative talk show on today) is looking for a third party. He voted Constitution Party last time Arlen Spector was up for election; he said he may do so again this time around.

Are you one of those "let's have the courts run the country" type people, as Hydroshock and his Democrat sidekicks appear to be?

I think your straining at gnats on this one. Those you've mentioned aren't like liberals that ask judges to legislate from the bench; courts were made to ensure laws are followed. The sad part of this is that they have to sue Republicans to get the laws followed. And, not just any law, but constitutional law!

This Rick Perry thread reminds me of the John Edwards thread (where he obnoxiously primps in front of the mirror before a debate.) Granted, Rick's handlers are more astute and have him on the equivalent of a rhinestoned leash worthy of Reveillee. We'll just see how Dan does in Dallas, and then we can all make the call as to whether Perry is a real conservative, or whether Dan is

There will be no doubt that Dan is the conservative over that pompous pom pom narsasistic Aggie cheerleader, Rick Perry.

I don't see a Texas flag on your website. Are you a Texan? Are there no problems in your home state that merit your attention?

Your governor Rick Perry. Until 2010.

The word is "narcassistic". You must have gone to public school.

"Bob Lanier, failed Democrat Houston politician,"

...and I'm told to get help. When did I mention Lanier? You seem to be a bit bi-polar, based on your above post.

You must have attended public school too because the word is "narcissistic", LOL!

Guess this is a well deserved backfire for you. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving pompous know-it-all.

You and Kinky Friedman have a lot in common: plenty of bitching, no solutions whatsoever.

Look who's talking...

I am sure the courts could do a better job then the rinos in Austin of managing the budget.

Perhaps the dumbest statement I've read in weeks.

What state did you move here from, and when? Because you obviously have no memory of William Wayne Justice.

Don't worry about that sinkspur guy who keeps trashing the motives of this thing. I saw him doing the same thing on another article a few days ago when a conservative took a position that he didn't like, so he sat there and whined about it. He doesn't miss an opportunity to put something down because he didn't think of it himself.

Personally I see nothing at all wrong with what these people want to sue about. Heck - the State Senator guy he keeps ranting about isn't even a plantiff in it!!! He also obviously hasn't bothered to vet his repeated claims that the "almighty guv'ment" is right and the people suing are wrong. I don't care about the personalities involved. I wish somebody would do a suit like this in every state in the union including mine if that's what it takes to stop the growth of government.
