The reason all leftist embrace Islam is because Islam is a totalitarian way of life and all leftists know that the only way to their goals is through totalitarianism.

That is an excellent point. Radical Islam and the Left disagree over almost everything else except their common hatred of America and that makes them bedfellows. When Radical Islam takes over a nation the leftists lose their freedoms but their hatred for capitalism and America supercedes that.
