EXACTLY!
And when they do, they use it as an example of how we should bail on the war on terrorism. They don't use it to point out the ruthless nature of this enemy, and the level they will sink to harm Americans.
It's a no-win situation with the media. They want us to LOSE the war in Iraq and have to bail out ala Vietnam. This is the only way they can then say "SEE!!! Bush was wrong. This was a horrible, unjust war based on LIES."
Never mind that the Islamic terrorists who threaten America would give their first-born son/daughter for the chance to kill any number of individuals who comes from one of the more-liberal elements of our American society.
This whole media mentality with the war on terrorism leaves me dumbfounded.
Upon reflection maybe that's a "dumb" statement by me.
The media was the same way with the Cold War... the Western nations were the aggressors. Reagan bad - Communists were people who were misunderstood... all the while that freedom of the press and freedom of speech (two critical rights cherished by the liberal media) were not permitted.
