They are not giving it away!! They are selling it to the highest bidder (ie: number of hispanic votes)
Too bad the politicians are so short sighted that they cannot comprehend that the very second they are able, they will replace them with hispanic politicians. Not saying that we do not need/want hispanic politicians, I did not mean that in a racial way. What I mean is that the 'reconquistadors' will put their own politicians in there that will serve thier reconquistador effort.
The issue that I'll take with your comment is only the bidders. The Mexi-socialists will invariably vote 'rat, so there's nothing to be gained by the Republicans.
Our Republican Congressmen are selling out to their big agri-business contributors--the same ones who get the bulk of the agricultural subsidies and pork every year. The Republican big business contributors want the cheap labor, labor that isn't unionized, labor that works hard and doesn't bitch and whine about how they are being victimized, and labor that somebody else pays for the health care, schooling, housing...
Our system of politics is corrupt to its very roots and there's not much that those of us who are paying the bills can do about it.
