I'm hearing reports now that it was al Qaeda that gave up Zarqawi. If true, they got Massoud out of the picture and now Zarqawi.
To what end?
A coincidence?

Massoud was killed because he was leading the Northern Alliance against AQ/Taliban in Afghanistan and was the only major opposition force left in the country. It was this same Northern Alliance that our Special Forces teamed up with (supported by our air power) to eventually sweep AQ/Taliban out of power.

I'm hearing reports now that it was al Qaeda that gave up Zarqawi. Where have you heard that? I must admit, I haven't turned on the news once since the story broke. I have read quite a bit, from people at work, and the general media, but haven't heard that myself.
