They used lions at at least one Florida polling place. Lions to scare away the black voters.

I actually heard they had the audacity to ask for identification before letting them vote !!! :-)
Come on....The Detroit Lions don't scare anyone.
FROM DU: Initally in Florida the Republicans tried alligators but they didn't work. At first it was thought that black voters had some genetic predisposition that allowed them to easily outmaneuver the alligators. Studies eventually found that the black voters, unlike the white voters, would see an alligator and then simply walk away from it.
Unfortunately, because of this failed Republican idea (by Karl Rove) to have alligators eat black voters the alligator population has grown significantly in Florida. And since the white voters, especially women joggers, will walk right up to the alligator and try to pet them the alligators have been eating a lot of white Florida voters recently. These deaths, of course, are Bushes fault.
