The talking head radio egos are beyond hope. Nothing can undo their damage. While they'll be bragging about how smart they are, our President will be destroyed and our country along with it.

Bush has done so many things that he gets no credit for: two Islamofascist regimes in the junk-heap of history; Al Qaeda marginalized and much of its leadership dead or in captivity; the break-up of the Al Qaeda training and recruiting infrastructure in Afghanistan; Qaddafi in Libya having a brown-trousers moment after seeing the fate of Saddam and the Taliban and excreting his WMD program; and last but not least: no major terrorist attacks on US soil since 9-11-01.

If I told you on 9-12-01 that we would not suffer a major attack on US soil through May 2006, you'd have told me to put the crackpipe down.

Our fast food society and 24/7 newsloop leftist media (and the Saudi-compromised Fox News) just cannot fathom that this is going to be a long, difficult war, just as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld have always said from the start.

On the other hand, this administration is not without fault. Their border security plan is weak and years late. But most of all, the administration's complete inability to communicate its vision and keep all members singing from the same sheet of music is frustrating in the extreme. I sense that the president is more frustrated than anyone.

Starting with who ever suggested to him that we call this a war on "terror" and not name the enemy (the Jihadists, the Islamofascists, Radical Islam, pick one), the communication capability has hounded President Bush right from the start. And unlike Reagan, he just doesn't quite have the eloquence to overcome the shortcomings of his staff. But when I see/hear Bush speak, I get the definite feeling that the man is sincere and deeply means what he says.
