It's why we do it, folks. It's fun, it's uplifting; and it's even more enjoyable now that warm weather has returned.
FReepers from all over the country have visited DC, had a great time seeing Washington's incomparable monuments and museums, and made the time to stand with us in honor of our wounded and in support of their families. Come and stand with us this Friday, and lots of Fridays!
Ample parking on the streets. We order pizza. See you there!
bump!
Good job out there. Keep it up!!!
I wonder if anyone knows I'm a man?
Fantastic AAR, Albion!!!
Thanks for the fashion tips and a lot of laughs. The after-action report and photos are outstanding.
Thanks for doing this chore so well and for standing up at Walter Reed for all those of us who cannot at this time.
FReep On!
Ping! Wish us luck tonight at Walter Reed...
I am soooo late to this party...
Thanks for the ping (via email, for us very long-distance FReepers-in-spirit) Albion Wilde! Sure glad I didn't miss your AAR and [Mrs.] TroopRally's photos.
I guess I've lived outside the states for too long, but are there really people that walk around like that??? Dayum. I mean, we probably have 'em here too, but God love you all for willfully exposing yourselves to that.
My Memorial Day weekend was spent at Landstuhl with some of our blown up/banged up guys. Things are tough but spirits are high, and they really appreciate the support from back home.
You FReepers rock! Keep charging.
With love from Germany to all who care about our guys,
MaryAnn
