Albion - thanks for the ping and your hilarious report with photos. As a ProtestWarrior and FReeper, I'm always overjoyed to see folks turn out to counter-protest these idiots.
Perhaps next week you can throw a shaving and shower kit to that poor, hygiene-challenged Pinko.
You guys are "the bomb". I wish I didn't live 2000 miles away. Thank you for representing my views, in good weather and bad. Thank you again.
I replied before letting the pics load. My caption for the first picture "The consequences of burning your bra in the '70s."
Bump! but I have requested that the photo in post #3 be removed. This is not in keeping with FR's good behavier. I hope the mod agrees.
Support the Troops, Dump Murtha! by supporting Irey!
Thank you for you kind remarks. The WRAMC FReep is special.
"A Halliburton Expandable Overbreastage Containment System"....LOLOL! Where can I score one of those "HEOC"'s?
Karl forgot to put one in my P.I.N.K.O. (Protesting Ignorant Nefarious Kommie Obstructionists) tool kit!
One of my best night's sleep since the accident...it must have been your encouragement!
I am enjoying reading the report again and all the comments too.
It's particularly sad when the news media and people like Congressman Murtha give Code Pink credibility. I'm not saying that people shouldn't have the freedom to dress any way they want, but when the entire group consistently pushes the personal appearance envelope to this extent, you have to take a hard look at what else they are pushing.
"Peace" is an extremist idea when your nation's soldiers, sailors, civilians, embassies, buildings, ideology and reputation have been under attack for more than 20 years and finally a President is elected who has the stones to do something about it, even at the risk of making his own father look weak.
What Code Pink does consisently borders on psychological abuse of our soldiers, not to mention treason. Ask the parent of any brave soldier who looks out the window of Walter Reed and sees them cavorting around with guitars and singing "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Heaven's Door" as the DC Chapter has.
Great work, Allegra! It only takes a few of us to totally unhinge the "party of peace."
Take a bow for your great pictures, Mrs. Trooprally. Your eye is keen!
I just noticed the bus. Inside lights are on so the returning troops can be seen waving and saluting us for our continued support..."at the gate".
Have we mentioned their response lately? They seem so happy to see us!
It is one of the many reasons I am trying to get back there!
Come on down! Let us know when you're coming! We love to have FReepers from other states. So far, we've had people here from California, Ohio, Illinois, Florida, the Carolinas, Texas, Arizona and many other states -- plus citizens of Italy and India! Feel free to comment here, out-of-state Walter Reed FReepers! We love you!
Thank you for the reminder that the DC Chapter of Protest Warrior have been frequently at our side on Friday nights; in fact, it was the DCPW leader, who is also the FReeper concretebob, who overthrew the Pinkos by applying for their lapsed permits. Protest Warrior/FReeper BStein80 is another outstanding contributor to extraordiary antics against the Pinko's disingenuous propaganda.
We welcome all Protest Warriors and any who will observe the DC Chapter's rules for protesting. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Thanks for your readership! Hilarious screenname and tagline, by the way!
Great news, Appy Pappy! And not to worry, we have plenty of spare signs!
Hey, big guy! Would you like to post a summary here about the Friday dinners for the benefit of our readers? You have done a fantastic job with your activism for the soldiers regarding that...
Thanks, Dinah Lord, but one small correction -- we are the victims. They are fashion/hygiene suicide bombers. In fact, one of our signs says, "CODE PINK - HUMAN IEDS."
You're PINK
You STINK
You're goin down the SINK!
