I wish you were kidding when you say these things. I don't want to address it but...really!!
Laura is believed by many, many conservatives to be the Lib agitator (in her nice way, I'm sure) in this administration. The soft one who whispers in his ear to take a softer line on many issues, especially those dear to conservatives.
To say that she wishes the administration were more in tune with its base, and therefore is upset with the President and showing it behind the scenes (convenient place, as none of us are there) is just about the most unlikely scenario I can conceive of.
Then there's their personal relationship which goes way beyond politics. What is there to suggest she or he have soured on the other? Your post implies you "know" something bad about it. Tabloids?? If not, then ???
I deeply appreciate them both, imperfect as they are. Aren't we all?...imperfect.
Karl Rove is responsible for President Bush's poor approval ratings. If I saw that happen to my husband, I'd be perturbed too.
