As for being nasty, I refer you to your post 450. You know nothing about me, don't take the time to find out, and yet you post this:
It's obvious you've never served in combat. Your treachery is disgusting, frankly, as is your worship for God Reuters.
I will stand by our troops and their explanation until the day the are convicted at a fair and just court martial, if ever one comes to pass. Until then, no mealy-mouthed panty-waists cheerleading for Reuters or a whore like Jack Murtha rate one iota of credibility on this subject.
Then, you tried to hide behind what I assume was honorable service by the men in your family.
Tsk, tsk indeed.
You're new here, and I'm hopeful your conditions of ignorance, stupidity and hysterics are temporary.
No hiding about it. YOU asked a question, I answered.
See how that works?
Duh.
There's nothing hysterical in what I said. In fact, you're the one going hysterical over a bunch of unfounded crap from Reuters.
You're a fool and a phoney. Get lost.
Sooner or later, one way or another, PC warfare kills people, unfortunately.
Wow the MSM sure does know how to help enemy tactics... Well if it didn't happen in Haditha then it sure will happen now.... Insurgent and terrorist staged U.S. Military slaughters of Iraqi civilians... Just what the MSM wants to report and just was turns Americans sour...
This is a war and sorry to say there will be collateral damage. Let the Marines have their day in court before convicting in the media.
Remember, this is the Drive-By_Media where the seriousness of the charges are more important than the facts. I would hold judgement prior to making ANY conclusions.
I agree 100% with you.
"....there is a thorough investigation going on."
That would have been plenty!
We have to wait for the facts.
That's exactly what I'm saying. Acknowleding that accusations are troubling is one thing if you're Joe Schmo. Commander in Chief. HELL NO. Be troubled in your private thoughts or memoirs.
I understand that point. However, the other 129,975 troops out there still have to function and get their jobs done. Striking a political pose to be on the right side of an issue is not what is needed. We all know they will be punished if found guilty. Hell, our own soldiers are prosecuted and given trials 10x faster than the enemy! So, it's not like justice isn't expedient. What's needed is a clear understanding that Al Qaeda is manipulating the Press very effectivley, using our incessant drive for horrifying news to push this out in the open, demoralize troops, turn people against the good that's being done in IRaq/Afghanistan and abroad and implode US resolve.
True enough; but it's also worth pointing out that those same fence-sitting Iraqis can see how this is being handled vs. how Hussein's regime would have handled it, and see the difference.
"Striking a political pose to be on the right side of an issue is not what is needed."
true, but it is one of the drawbacks of politicians.

Agreed, but that would mean punishing the Marines if the allegations are proven in a court-martial. There are many here who would seem to not want that under any circumstances.
For my part, while I am inclined to give the Marines the benefit of the doubt, the fact that their stories changed makes me skeptical.
Death certificate issued by whom? I wanna see the, or have US pathologists, see the bodies. I don't want a paper written by some Iraqi official from a known terrorist harboring region.
Yup. "In the manner of Jen-jis Con."
Two lessons that he should have learned in that hearing: 1) do not wear silli-boi bighair coif, "in the manner of" a Carnaby Street "Mod"-wannabe (I mean, if you're gonna be a wannabe, at least don't work to emulate something inherently goofy to start with!); 2) don't use words -- particularly for emphasis -- when you cannot pronounce them.
On the other hand, the man does have a measure of talent -- "in the manner of" Emmet Kelly.
Suppose these bullet holes in the Iraqi *victims* were effected sometime after the firefight, like, say around the time a reporter working for a faux news company known to collaborate with the terrorists came knocking with a plan to make these people some blood money?
Why else would they be undisclosed by the military investigation, then show up months later?
"Why should we be troubled if they're found guilty beyond reasonable doubt?"
I don't get it either. When a serial killer is found guilty, that doesn't affect the ENTIRE population. Nor does the handy work of a gang affect the entire population.
Bush is getting nuttier.
Excellent supposition.
