Jassim's brother, who was wounded by broken glass, said he did not see any warnings as he sped his sister to the hospital. Her husband was waiting for her there. "I was driving my car at full speed because I did not see any sign or warning from the Americans. It was not until they shot the two bullets that killed my sister and cousin that I stopped," he said. "God take revenge on the Americans and those who brought them here. They have no regard for our lives."

Like he doesn't know SOP at this point. He sacrificed his sister, as those SOB's are wont to do.

Did you see the President on tv when he spoke about the situation in Haditha today? Did you see the President and Tony Blair a few days ago give a presser? Someone here mentioned that the President seemed to be out of sorts or gloomy.

His state of mind is a topic of discussion because we are all his constituents. He is a public figure. How hard a concept is that to grasp?

Can we discuss ideas without satan? he's highly over-rated.

> Floriduhvoter isn't a DU troll. She's a long-time FReeper...a very real person who campaigned her heart out for Terri Schiavo.

I apologize-- but-- spreading rumors about good people simply is Bad. Very Bad. Don't do it.

Let me put it to you this way. If I could fly the Vatican Flag at FR, I would. There isn't one so I selected the Italy locale. I'll switch back to the Fla locale before the September primaries.

Have you read the New Testament, FV? (I'm pretty sure you have).

Do you remember when Jesus was telling the disciples about His coming crucifixion, and Peter said, "Never! Lord!" (Matthew 16: 22). Do you remember what Jesus said to Peter? "Get behind me, Satan!"

Satan works in all of us at times........even in well-intentioned Apostles such as Peter. Whenever falsehoods are being spread around, it is appropriate to pray, and to attribute the falsehood to its source.

And on that, I am leaving this thread............in prayer for what has been happening on this forum.

You know, this is an issue that affects the lives of quite a FEW Americans.

I would really appreciate a serious discussion. If you meant to put a sarc tag on this, fine. If not, please leave the discussion to the grownups.

what's wrong with it, is that it assumes the negative regarding this story from the outset. read it to yourself a few times, look at the phrases in it: "laws were broken", "punishment", "those who violated the law".

instead, he should have said that a combat Marine deserves the benefit of the doubt, that the case is more complex then the media and others (Murtha) have spun from the outset (its instantly a "war crime" and "murder"), that conduct under fire, in battle, at the point of attack, is alot more difficult to understand, then some investigator or reporter who breaks down the case in the aftermath.

It is your own RUMOR from your "source."

You really could have kept quiet and kept the fact that you're a rumor monger secret.
