Something has been very wrong all year and getting worse, not better. Even Tony Snow (who I've liked) comparing illegal aliens to getting a speeding ticket was clumsy, too.

I thought Tony Snow was a great pick, certainly better than McClellan, but that comparison was ridiculous.
I have actually had thoughts about him being a puppet like the MSM and Dims say. It is believable if you look at his moves, odds are now 3-2 that he is not the man in control of events.

I'm like every other human and I have to gather knowledge. I'm not a god so it didn't all come to me at birth. No person is born conservative. We have to be persuaded--parents, church, media. Thank goodness I found Rush in 98 and got an alternative view. Now I listen to all kinds of conservative talk radio with varying opinions and read articles on FR. How do you gather your knowledge or were you born with it all?
According to that site, the troops will be mostly pulled from Iraq in time for the '08 election. I agree with Savage, if the Bees would have been sent in to do some massive buzzin' the problem with the Mooslims would be just about over. We showed them compassion and our hand in friendship, they see it as weakness.

"What if" isn't enough. The President should say something like: "The allegations are still under investigation by the military, so far all we have is the statements of some Iraqis who claim to have been witnesses. But we haven't yet heard from the troops involved and their lawyers. There is another side of the story that has not been publicized yet. No official charges have been made yet, and I'm not going to pre-judge our military men until ALL the facts are in".

If the President were really a born again Christian, I would suspect that he would see the parallels between Biblical events of old, and todays events. He would truly believe that Islam is idolatry, and would never allow services in his presence NOT Christian. If there were to be services for Islam, or Buddha near him, I would expect him to bow out gracefully but bow out of participation.
We all rely on and are influenced by others' opinions. I guess none of us should ever read a book then. Our founding fathers had some good ideas. Nobody should have been influenced by those people either. The argument humblegunner is coming up with is ridiculous.
