Borders! culture!! Language!! Morals!!! SAVAGE!!! TRUTH!!!
You did't get that memo?
No.
I stay away from that kind of Idol worship.
I agree. But already Bush is making negative statements about the allegations that Marines committed atrocities in Iraq, without even hearing from the other side yet, OUR SIDE. I think the President is a poor leader, and unfortunately we happen to live in times where only a strong, faith-filled man of courage, intelligence and great reasoning ability could succeed. Pray for him.
Ouch! Now that was a little below the belt don't you think?
Why here and not there, then?
There's no 'hero worship'; if anything, Savage (and Boortz, for that matter) scream against it nearly everyday. What's wrong with listening to opinion radio?
I think back when he faked his military records. You people are so much fun. I love it!
"Now, I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."
--Gen. George S. Patton
Right. Better to have opinion with attitude, than mealy mouth platitude.
I don't get the problem either. Talk radio/news/opinion/debate/ideas is something I enjoy. People enjoy all kinds of things. Talk radio is not unhealthy and you can do other things while listening. I don't understand the ridicule.
You are drinking the koolaid.
Our side, their side.. it's never good to let others spoon feed
you some pat opinions. Form your own! Be a Man! They are MEDIA.
TV news (network and cable) has morphed into 'opinion news', and we all know which way the vast majority of that slants. I just prefer to balance it with some logical opinion from the radio.
Letting others feed your opinions to you I suppose is a great relief.
Forfend you should ever have to formulate your own.. too taxing.
Where's you evidence that I'm "drinking the koolaid"? Am I "drinking the koolaid" by watching the evening news, too?
Yep to post #9.........
I am part of the Savage nation, and Tancredo and Alan Keyes sound good to me.
What if it is proved by jury of peers (military court) that they went out of bounds on this?
I am sure there are hundreds of such in history of warfare. Bush is handing it right
I think it was a fair statement, which I supported by making note of how President Bush left Terri Schiavo out to die of starvation and dehydration. I also don't view the so-called "born-agains" as particularly strong Christians. They answer only to themselves, their own intellect, as they personally interpret the Bible. I know that if I personally interpreted the Bible I'd find a million ways to excuse my bad behavior, through the use of my "inspired" intellect.
In any case, no matter what denomination Bush claims to be, his constant carping that islam is a "religion of peace" flies in the face of traditional/historical/orthodox Christian teaching. He also refers to islam as one of the world's "great religions", and they are nothing but idol worshippers who hate everything non-islamic. There is nothing "great" about islam; they are evil and dangerous to the entire world.
We happen live in times where the Truth is perhaps needed more than ever, but it is being burried more deeply than ever before. Evil has spread all over the earth in a more encompassing and destructive way than ever before. I don't see how we will survive as a nation if we continue to think of islam as either "great" or "peaceful". I could go on, but I think I've made my point.
He has spina politicus bifidus
