Simplistically, I suppose. Very simplistically.

But the article (have you read it yet) distinguishes between measures that protect others, and those that (in the real world) protect only the individual.

When that idnividual is on the road with many others this argument loses some validity. If you lose control of your vehicle, even if after the initial collision, you are more likely to hit more cars(c0ontaining other people) on the road.


Are you seriously going to dispute even that???
