That's a refreshing opinion piece.

Not speaking for this writer, but many seemed to buy Rove's suggestions to the press that the "problem" would be "House Republican conservatives." Then Bush followed up with his hints about opponents being "uncivil" and hinting at their possible racism. Team Bush herded the "liberal" media to chase with glee the "conservatives" and define themselves as bigoted as opposed to the enlightened writers themselves.

He specifically mentions Sen. Sessions. Good move, there was an attack piece on him in this same paper that was totally uncalled for.

He did the same thing in the ports scandal; suggested that anyone who stands against the UAE operating our ports were racists. He is taking a page from Al Sharpton's diary.
