Good question. Think about this one as well: HD has contractors it subs out to install the products it sells. The subcontractor hires an illegal who ends up harming a customer in some way. Is HD on the hook for any liability from that? Or is there fine print in HD's contracts that covers its corporate hind end?

HD's top dog was compensated 124$ million last year. Money is not a factor for them
