I had posted this earlier onto another thread. I was told that this should have its own thread. I agree.
I had the pleasure of meeting Major Felman and spoke with him before he died. I had a chance to thank him for his efforts to honor General Mihailovich, a hero my mine. So on this Memorial day I would like to share this article so that those of you who may not know the story of the greatest rescue of American Airmen from behind enemy lines can read about it.
