Maybe one of Bin Laden's suitcase nukes that they've reported on 10,000 times got them.

Good one!

They went 'round the bend near the end of 2000, when they decided they'd be ''iconoclasts'' and hold Bush's feet to the fundie's fire, telling him just how to govern.

Before that, they were a great part of the conservative message revolution. I used to read them for at least 30 minutes each day when Clinton was King. Now, I only click on them whem I'm bored by real news and want an apocalyptic prediction or two to make me snicker.

They've since turned into the Weekly World News for fundamentalist Christians--except "Batboy" stories are more entertaining.

Do they still have web ads for those old NukeAlert bracelets?

An OK site in general, but they tend to dip into the "shockign news fromIranian expatriates" well too many times for their screamin headliners.

Yep, as long as WND had Clintoon as a target, they seemed to stay on message -- and I was a faithful reader. After that, WND went downhill at an accelerating pace.

It's been a long while since I've even had the site bookmarked for occasional check-ins...
