I think that the Terri Schiavo matter ended any chance that Jeb Bush ever had of being POTUS.

More proof that Gingrich is part of the problem and not the solution.

No time soon. But I think 4 years of a Democratic President might get us yearning for the good ole days when W was President.

Unless Newt is thinking Jeb and his wife could help bring back the Hispanic vote...

I've always thought that Newt was a great "behind the scenes" organizer for the GOP. But as soon as he is the "public face" of anything he looks foolish. If he wasn't so egotistical, he would have declined the Speaker position back in 95 in favor of someone who could work better with the minority. In a lot of ways he is almost a GOP version of Ted Kennedy.

Jeb might be a shoe-in after such an awful time.

Newt ....In a lot of ways he is almost a GOP version of Ted Kennedy. I'm sorry, but which alternative universe are you living in.
Newt has made mistakes, but to compare him to Ted "Swimmer" Kennedy is almost a crime

The two Bush's we have had were unmitigated disasters. I am not going to vote for another one.

I worry about his position against drilling off the coast of Florida.

Dear wagglebee,
I wasn't happy with how Gov. Bush handled the Terri Schiavo tragedy, either. I lost a great deal of respect for him during that time.
Nonetheless, I would vote for Gov. Bush to be president over any Democrat any day of any week.

hmm, Ted K. is polarizing, but the most influential Democrat legislator in the Senate.
Maybe we need Gingrich back in the senate.

No thank you, no more bushes. Yeah, have to agree. GWH was a limp noodle. W started strong with the aid of a simple circumstance (9/11), but has since fizzled and even gone in the opposite direction on numerous issues.
I think I'll pass on W. I wouldn't even vote for him in primaries if he were to run again. He'd only be a "vote of no" for any Dim otherwise.
