I'd be happy just to be getting regular time - but I'm a part-timer and I don't get paid for holidays (until after I complete my 90 days). I really don't appreciate being FORCED not to show up for work - and yet I don't get paid either. Oh well .. better than being unemployed.

The last caller really flummoxed Rush. Guy asked why don't the gas retailers advertise anymore? Said it shows there's no competition in the gas business.

Rush missed the point completely. Babbled about how the AAA restaurants he goes to don't advertise either. Really embarrassing actually.

Sounds like a good day to me...but, I have never played golf.

My Dad was a HUGH golf fan...he would watch the PGA every week..he got me hooked.

I kinda stopped watching once Tiger started winning all of the time...took the suspense out of it.

Actually, looking at the picture you posted, I wouldn't really care what my score was if I had a chance to be out on that course...I am truly envious.

Actually, it shows that there is very little difference to the consumer in brands of gasoline. It is just a commodity.

I also don't see much advertising of different brands of canned corn anymore either. In both cases the only difference is in pricing and consumers don't respond to the advertising.

I lived until last year on the North tip of the Kitsap peninsula in Hansville. It was wonderful....but a job changed has me now in Jacksonville, FL...it's nice here too, but a lot warmer...and I miss my view.

Because the move was job related I had to move after 16 years of being there. I didn't want to move, believe me, and I get my asking price quite easily. I was overlooking Foulweather Bluff, 1.6 miles west of Hansville Grocery in that little cul-de-sac off Prospect. Yes, I frequently went near the reservation to get cigarettes (before the state tax got passed), and it was sad, except they sold great fireworks,. But the living conditions...oh well....
My wife enjoyed the casino too much and gave too much to the Indians which she can't here in FL...
