Google (No recognition of Memorial Day on Home Page)
Google ^
Posted on 05/29/2006 6:14:15 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper
As of 8:10 Central time, Google's home page does not acknowledge our fallen soldiers.
A couple weeks ago, I remember Google's home page noted the birthday of Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle.
I s'pose the defenders of freedom aren't as important to the Clinton-supporting Democrat party donors who created Google.

Al Gore allegedly has enough cash to run a presidential campaign out-of-pocket from the proceeds of his Google "employment" and stock options.

Whoever decides their page graphic is obviously a leftist. They celebrate some tripe like 'Earth Day', and have no recognition of Memorial Day?
WTF is up with that?!

That's because they're leftists who secretly hate the soldiers who have given them the opportunity to enrich their lives.

There's nothing on Yahoo, either.
But, this is fine with many of the fiscal conservatives on FR. The only thing that's important in capitalism today is the bottom line and huge bonuses for top executives. Patriotism be damned.

They probably don't even know it's a holiday.

Dogpile simply collects info from Google and others.
Google still gets the hits.
If you want to shun Google, you'd better find another search engine.

Use GoodSearch.com as a search engine. It uses YAHOO technology and donates 1cent for every search to a charity of your choice. My church has generated over 20k hits this month alone and will be getting a check for $200.
Why give 1 cent of advertising money to a group that obviously hates our country.
To: mbx1231
Dogpile is actually a compilation of google/Yahoo/MSN/Ask's Ads, with a few actual search results thrown in for good measure. Notice the [found on xxxxx] after the search line.

Altavist isn't too bad
alltheweb works too.

Well, they have nothing either.
To: SoFloFreeper
Probably because nobody went to work at Google today.

Go to help page.
Then to Questions.
At the bottom of the standard questions is 'contact us"..then you can leave a message.
