This SOB continues to disgrace his uniform and his country.
The next coverup I want to hear about is when they cover up that vile, smelly old man with a layer of sod. In the meantime, he otta just STFU.
"...powerful member of congress" indeed.
Nobody had ever heard of the old maggot until he turned into Cindy Sheehan.
Even if everything he alleges is true, what patriotic American would work so diligently to splash it onto the front pages of the world's media? Only a traitor who wants us to fail and wants to inspire our enemies.
Forget raiding William Jefferson's office, Mr. Gonzlalez, arrest this cretin for treason.
I say we send any of Murtha's children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc., who are old enough to go into Iraq. Let's see if he considers it so important to make certain every kill is an insurgent before firing. To him it seems it is easy to point at our troops because they aren't among HIS priviliged class and are, therefore, unworthy of respect.
The bastard's corpse should be buried in the mountians of Pakistan, along with the other dead Jihadis. In no way should that vile carcass pollute a US military cemetary.
He's worse than Cindy. Cindy never took an oath of office before she aided and abetted the enemy.
Perfect.
"Congressman alleges Marines covered up killings"
LLS alleges murtha is a TRAITOR and should be tried as such!
LLS
But I just don't get this kind of behavior from a vet.
I'd rather see the idiot stand face to face with a group of current Marines and explain his rational for treason.
He's a Democrat, just like the guy who served in Viet Nam and Cambodia.
"There has to have been a cover-up"
In other words, "I desire it, so make it so in the minds of the American public."
A despicable tactic even for a lib.
"At this time, particularly on Memorial Day . . . I think we should be calm and reassuring to the American people that the men and women of our armed forces are admirably and professionally conducting their heavy responsibilities."
The top Republican said: "I respect my friend, John Murtha. I also was privileged to wear the Marine uniform. But we've got to let the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the investigation system, proceed before we reach any conclusions on this matter."'
These were quotes from Senator Warner. How come they didn't appear in the Washington Post article, which was via an Associated Press contribution? Hmmmm ... I wonder!
We really need to prosecute for such blatant treason. And swift executions need to follow.
The fact that Marines in the heat of battle, w/o time for contemplation, are held to account for breaking the UCMJ, then certainly a Senator should be held accountable for premeditated subterfuge of our nation.
