Too bad he can't be sanctioned for making statements to the press that would lead an ordinary reader to think he was speaking for the denomination.

We truly are a free denomination.

I've never ever had anyone tell me what I can or cannot address from the pulpit.

I, too, could make a proclamation....if only the media would pick it up. :>)
