the people are fed up with the elite dynasties. Not so fast! For us, the somewhat politically savvy, that statement may be true.
But for the masses of the peeples?? Maybe not.

you bring up a good point... i was making this just the other day to a friend.. what has hitlery actually done in 6 years as senator?? We'll besides being the queen of new york?

George W Bush has been one of our greatest presidents. I would vote for Jeb Bush over all contending Democrats. Which Democrat would anyone like to propose?

Amnesty == votes for George P. Bush

If you aren't associated with Jeb, then you need to do a little research on the people that he associates with. For starters look at the agency heads that he has appointed. There is a lot of clinton type syndicate dirt swirling around him. His Corrections privatization guy resigned and accepted a plea bargain. His Corrections Secretary resigned amid swirling rumors of drug activity, embezzlement and intimidation. His head of law enforcement resigned amid swirling rumors associated with obstructing an investigation of the murder of a teen at a Boot Camp. His first Lt Governor resigned to become President of a University ( after lengthy rumors of discord with Jeb). One of his appointments to the Judicial Nominating Commission resigned another high level job amid swirling rumors of drugs, graft, intimidation and wild sexual harassment. This Judicial Nominating Commission member had a long history of legal and intimidation problems, but did not have a high school degree. There are other cases of Capital Security Guards being disciplined for reporting Gubernatorial trysts, and the highly touted efficiency czar resigning in frustration after 6 months.

Just how "effective" was the message of people who voted for Perot and gave us Clinton?

There is no difference between a RINO and a liberal Democrat. Who are you trying to kid? They are two fingers of the same hand.

Bush 1 read my lips no new taxes...
Bush 2 I'm against amnesty, its really not amnesty...
Bush 3 Mi esposa le gusta estar la Reyna de EEUU.(my wife likes being the queen of the US)
Bush 4 Hoy seramos Los Estados Unidos de Norte America. (today we are the United States of North America)
To: Jameison
Don't have a problemm with Jeb Bush at all. I would like some explanation as to the actions of Florida's various executive agencies with regard to the dehydration death of Terri Schiavo. There were supposed to be investigations of Michael Schiavo's guardianship and care of her, but somehow those just fell by the wayside. Something smells.
Perhaps Jeb Bush is innocent of Terri's death, but before I would vote for him for dog catcher I'd want him to explain what happened and why.

I hope he does run.
He would make a great president and he could actually beat the Dems.
Or do you want McCain as the Republican nominee and Hillary as president?

"Being a good governor does not mean he will be a good President"
True.
However most of our recent Presidents have been governors, and Jeb Bush is at least as qualified as any of them, and as qualified, if not better qualified than the current crop of likely candidates for 2008, let alone 2012.

Jeb runs. I will vote for the opponent. Don't ask me why. Don't tell me I giving the election to the Dems. The Pubs gave the presidency again to Clinton when the nominated Dole. I can give it to them if Jeb runs. You said it very well and I agree, plus I'll talk everyone I can into the same position. American has had enough of the BUSHIES.

"NO more Bushes or Clintons"
===
1. Why are you making an equivalence between the Bushes and the Clintons?
2. If Jeb doesn't run in 2008 and we end up with McCain as the Republican nominee, Hillary's win is virtually assured. Why do you think the MSM keeps pushing McCain down our throats?

I would have to say George W. has done a better job than his dad, imo.
Would I vote for Jeb?
I work in the oil patch. He has urinated on my professional cornflakes, so to speak.
Would I vote for Neil?
Google (or use the search engine of your choice) the Silverado Savings and Loan.
Uh-uh. Not happening.
Did I say I'd vote Democrat? Nope.
I will say this, however. If the Republican party did not realize they would need a candidate for POTUS in 2008, we definitely need people who are a little better at planning for the future pulling the strings.
If they thought we'd all be morphed to the 'center' by now they have another think coming.
I will, as I have in the past, support (grudgingly) the lesser of however many evils run for the office. It has been that way all my voting life.
