If this becomes law,it will be overturned by the state courts before you can say "homosexual marriage".

Immigrant advocates have argued there is no data showing illegal immigrants are seeking or receiving public housing benefits. Then they should have no concerns.

(Illegal immigrants) are not seeking to get ahead in any line anywhere, said Thomas Keown of the Irish Immigration Center.
You mean like the line of people waiting to become citizens through legal avenues?

(Illegal immigrants) are not seeking to get ahead in any line anywhere, said Thomas Keown of the Irish Immigration Center. Turning all manner of state agencies into customs and immigration enforcers is not the way to go. Translation: It's the only way to go.

Bit by bit state politicians are seeing, if not the light, at least some light- that there is a powerful pressure welling up from the people that politicians ignore at their peril. Even liberals will see it to some extent and they tend to have the best political survival instincts. It will be a real shame if this becomes a Democrat issue because Bush and the ether-head Republicans can only think to disguise it or push it aside or propose an opposite approach or do little things for show like these troops on the border who aren't going to actually do anything.

There is no more public housing built. It is a very finite resource.Well, there he went and did it. Now the senate will rush to pour more tax dollars into researching why it's finite and the benefits of building more.
