At least Frist recognized and admitted that the AG and FBI were right in what they did, and that Bush urging calm by putting a 45 day hold on the issue worked to calm down the idiots (Frist included, although he didn't really admit that). As far as immigration, I sensed that Frist is really feeling the heat about the Senate bill...he also admitted he doesn't support all of it. Therefore, he must be one of those Senators that Sessions was talking about when he (Sessions) said: "republican senators are telling me it is OK, the house will rescue us"!
They were elected to their job .. not have the House to do it for them
If they didn't like the Bill they should have voted it down

The negotiations that are going to occur in the conference committee remind me of old time Labor Union negotiations. The unions always demanded a 20% raise, and almost always settled for a 3-5% raise and some bennies. The House conferees know that they have the backs of the Majority of Americans. They will be strong.
Great Post...you have Frist totally figured out, IMHO.
Also, I think Frist was one of the GOP Congresscritters that jumped the gun on one of the NSA stories???
I can't remember, but I know that he has embarrassed himself a few times, by overreacting before knowing the facts and having to back off.
