She had to, she WAS the Florida Secretary Of State. You do admit that she was under unprecedented pressure, and that she handled it quite well. That's the main focus here and not that it was part of her job.

She did her job to the letter, it's clear to most of the nation and the USSC the Democrats and their cohorts in the FLSC were stealing the election by skirting existing laws and enforcing laws that didn't even exist.
