Assuming this is a valid form, why would he have 00 years and 00 months qualification in his primary MOS ....

Because going to, or even completing boot camp doesn't give you a MOS. You have to finish your trade school to get that.

From the link:
The bottom half of the form is just as revealing. Block 19 says "Service Member has not completed first full term of service". Block 24, as noted earlier, shows his service as "Uncharacterized" which is only given to those who are discharged as trainees. Block 25 is key. It shows he was discharged under the authority of AR 635-200 Chapter 11. That means he was found to be unfit to remain in the Army and was dicharged for the good of the service. Or as many have said, a boot camp washout. We've been through the code for discharge in the next block, but the narrative reason for his discharge is found in block 28, which says "Entry level performance and conduct", or, he couldn't cut it.

Concur: IF (and we don't know for sure) this is his form, he's a washout: didn't even have the ability to finish boot camp.

Gee.

Wonder who scrawled the big "F**K YOU" letters on his discharge form?

Some nasty brute of a Ranger-trained Special Warfare sergeant (no doubt) who would shoot innocent civilians at night, right?

Must have been a Ranger-trained and Special-warfare-qualified, parachute-qualified typist too:

Else the Army is hiring company clerks who can't spell "Ranger qualifyed" any more.

I could swear that I read that there's a Federal law that forbids anyone to claim to have achieved a rank in the US Armed Forces that he/she did not,in fact, achieve.

Now, just how long was he in:

His misspelled "form" (seen below) claiming "Ranger qualifyed" - if it is his form - is scrawled over with obsenties, and has MORE days of service in just those two qualifications than he actually was in the Army, don't they?

And you have to add in extra time for boot camp, travel, leave, special schools, etc.

"Ranger 'qualifyed'"

Yeah -- riiiiiight... Even the dumbest army clerk manages to learn how to spell terms they have to type dozens of times a day...

He needs to walk around with his right hand up to his forehead making the international symbol for LOSER. Because that all this pathetic POS is...a LOSER.

I think that's true for officers, but not enlisted. I've heard funny stories of a poser COL who got wind of this then demoted himself to CSM.

How did this poster get the DD-214? Release of such is limited to the servicemember or his survivor.

How does one wash out of boot camp? I know a positive incoming drug test will get you back on the bus, but what do you have to do (or not do) beyond that to be sent packing?

We always called them "Bricks," as in "dumber than..." We had a guy wash out of Air Force basic - couldn't march for squat.

Seems like a pretty stupid question.

If the poster wanted us to know that he would have posted it.
