Would you rather have an 'Ego Maniac' that stands firm and resolute on his convictions or the spineless GOP Senate Ego Maniacs who care only about re election and their cush jobs. Give me multiple clones of Roy Moore and stack the halls of govt. with his brand of man.
Roy Moore refused to obey the law; violated his oath of office; and didn't even have the deceny to resign on a matter of principle--he was removed from office in an 8-0 vote by the other Alabama Supreme Court justices.
Moore does not in any way represent true conservative values as any conservative I know understands them (respect for the law, even if you disagree with it, honoring your oath of office). It seems Alabama conservatives see through his charade of wrapping the shroud of Christian-ness around himself in a shameful, sanctimonious, display of piety, hypocrisy, and demagogy.
Not to mention his crude attempts to demonize his opponents as "anti-God; anti-American; and anti-Christian".
"I-am-the-chief-justice, I-am-the-law" Roy Moore richly deserves the defeat that is going to be handed to him by the voters.
Then God save us all.
