Gore told Huffington that this was his second trip to Cannes. "The first was when I was 15 years old and came here for the summer to study the existentialists - Sartre, Camus. ... Conflicting stories or not, I simply find it hard to believe a 15-year old boy spending his summer studying the existentialists, in France, in fluent French.
Of course, I'm the mother of a jock who endured a 3-week unit on Camus in high school with all the joy of someone getting a root canal (no offense to any FR dentists).
