Isn't The Villages the place advertised on FNC from time to time? I am beginning to have ideas about some possible re-wordings of their annoying jingle.
"The Villages, the worlds most friendliest hometown!!". :-)
The "Friendliest hometown" has some unfortunate side effects though. Gotta dig those groovin' Baby Boomers. Keepin' that free love 60's crap alive. ;-)

Those aren't mostly (or perhaps even at all) baby boomers. Folks in their 80s are the last of the "Greatest Generation."
The oldest boomers are just turning 60 this year.
Most of these folks are those who were born either in the years before, or during the Great Depression, a few during WWII, and maybe a few of the older boomers thrown in (at least in our area, the old folks communities start herding people in at 55).
