Sadly...during the last couple of elections I think that we have enabled a bunch of rhino's who know that faced with the other choice that conservative would always support them. And now that they have really taken that to heart...They have become fearless. This illegal immigration bill is the cats meow of how arrogant they have become. We must send a message to the Rhino's that this strategy is dead. It won't work anymore. Like a child we have learned a lesson. We are not forever gullible. This is what must be done if you want the Republican majority to return to reason and common sense. I believe that conservative values are the only values that represent that. They are the only ones that can look at the whole picture and not get side tracked by what feels good right now...This moment. They are the only ones who can reason what is good for this country in the long run. Support them whoever they are and where ever they are or else you are betraying the only ones that really care about America. You are sending a message that they should not even try, but instead, sit on the sidelines and watch the country go down the tubes. Many registered democrats are also upset over this immigration thing. I am sure that many of them would support a 3rd party candidate as well. Times are looking more hopeful for a third party person to get elected to congress or the senate than they did in the days of Ross P. I agree that the republican primary's are the best place to get it done. But sometimes that is just not going to be possible. In those cases then I believe that we should support a conservative candidate no matter how they manage to get on the ballot. America is dying now. If it is going to go down then let there at least be a fight. Lets not go out with a silent wimper. Maybe we might even survive and return to what we once were.

Let me give you something more realistic, but optimistic, to think about.

As ironic as it may be, assuming the House holds firm on its tougher, close-the-border-first immigration bill, the Republicans might just lose the Senate but retain control of the House!

This is the exact opposite of what some Democrat pundits have been predicting might happen. They have all but written off the Senate, but many see opportunities in the House.

It is not an outcome I want to see, but considering public opinion regarding the "Amnesty Bill," and other factors, it is actually more likely.

The result of such an outcome would be a vitriolic Democrat majority in the Senate, unable to provide its base with the much hoped for impeachment proceedings against the President because such proceedings must begin in the House.

Then, after the Democrat Majority in the Senate has had about two years to make a holy, ass-clown show of itself, and the Democrats inevitably nominate the fatally flawed Hillary Clinton to run in 2008, we might have a real Conservative Republican Presidential candidate with popular coat tails broad enough to replace the RINO majority in the Senate with real Conservative Senators.
