I'm just shocked Rush isn't trying to spin this as some republican strategy to get over on the dems.
Rush could explain the details of how brilliant the GOP has become in allowing the borders to remain WIDE OPEN all the while secretly maneuvering to the upper hand over the democrats.
I used to like to listen to Rush until it was painfully obvious he's nothing more than a pub pundit.

If those are the only choices, yes. But what the pissed off "mad as hell, we're not gonna take it anymore" crowd has in mind is different.
We're going to put forth candidates that actually have a chance at beating RINO assholes.

Remember when Rostenkowski was walking to his car and a group of ocogenarians assaulted him. We need to do the same with this Graham nitwit. All ages invited to the carnage.
To: demkicker
We need a Republican majority to keep committee chairs and other advantages.
Weed out the RINOs where you can in the primary.
After that opportunity has passed, you have to hold your nose and vote for your RINO.

Rush "is" at the top of his game. The Pubes are in a heap of trouble with their transparent attempts to "rein in" undocumented border crossers.
This is a new country, one which I see no return to the past. My children are destined to socialist neutering by the left and others who want America destroyed.

And you will get exactly what you have gotten. Rhino's are nothing more than liberal democrat infiltrators. They pretend to be what they are not so that they can infiltrate the enemy. Make no mistake that Rhino's consider conservatives to be the enemy. If you want to empower them then that is up to you. You will get more of the same. Only America can't take more of the same. We are reaching the breaking point. Which is..I fear...exactly what the plan is. Then we will be absorbed into some union and will cease being the United States of America in all buy name only. It is time to send a message. Time is too short to wait around. We are on the edge of a cliff leaning backwards. Support a true conservative. If it be third party then so be it. If you can get one in the Republican party then great. But do not vote for a Rhino. Do not make that mistake again. It is time for conservative to do what they always did best. And that is to stand on principle. Scare tactics be damned. You will never win unless you try. The impossible only becomes possible when we all stand up for our principles and our God given nation. Give up on that and you will lose, just as we are losing right now. Better to go down fighting for what you hold dear than to give up and go down having stood for nothing.

THank you for the history lesson.

This country has had a long life. Strange Day's are ahead. And for those who say, what me worry...This is an obvious shift in our history.
To: Patrick1
SO, conservatism is alive. Who are the conservative candidates...who can win elections and "lead" into the future?
Certainly not "Welcome Wagon" Bush!

You forgot Britanny Spears.

After that opportunity has passed, you have to hold your nose and vote for your RINO. I know you're right, but I reserve the right to decide if I really think settling on a political nymphomaniac whore who wants to keep screwing me while stealing my wallet, is really worth empowering. I'll need more time to think about it.

I really believe that if FreeRepublic wanted to make a real difference then they should start a Rhino list and put a link to it at the top of the main page. Rhino's should not be supported at all. This would put a lot of preasure on Republicans to stay off from the "Rhino" list. It might accomplish something.

If the President "solves" the illegal immigration by signing something like the Senate bill, he will be signing a de facto U.S. declaration of non-independence, marking the beginning of the endgame for this country.

I totally agree with you.
But unfortunately, you are wrong.
Sitting out or voting for third-party loser will win you absolutely zilch, nada, bubkis.
Weeding out the RINOs in the primary, before the general election, is your only hope.
As much as President Hedge, the Unpassionate Conservative, makes my blood boil, when the alternative is John F'n Kerry, the lying, Commie-loving traitor, I will just up my blood pressure meds and keep what ever I can.

Exactly. Where do we go from here?
To: TSchmereL
Sadly...during the last couple of elections I think that we have enabled a bunch of rhino's who know that faced with the other choice that conservative would always support them. And now that they have really taken that to heart...They have become fearless. This illegal immigration bill is the cats meow of how arrogant they have become. We must send a message to the Rhino's that this strategy is dead. It won't work anymore. Like a child we have learned a lesson. We are not forever gullible. This is what must be done if you want the Republican majority to return to reason and common sense. I believe that conservative values are the only values that represent that. They are the only ones that can look at the whole picture and not get side tracked by what feels good right now...This moment. They are the only ones who can reason what is good for this country in the long run. Support them whoever they are and where ever they are or else you are betraying the only ones that really care about America. You are sending a message that they should not even try, but instead, sit on the sidelines and watch the country go down the tubes. Many registered democrats are also upset over this immigration thing. I am sure that many of them would support a 3rd party candidate as well. Times are looking more hopeful for a third party person to get elected to congress or the senate than they did in the days of Ross P. I agree that the republican primary's are the best place to get it done. But sometimes that is just not going to be possible. In those cases then I believe that we should support a conservative candidate no matter how they manage to get on the ballot. America is dying now. If it is going to go down then let there at least be a fight. Lets not go out with a silent wimper. Maybe we might even survive and return to what we once were.

Unless I misread the constitution Bush can't run again. There are conservative candidates running and certainly McCain etc. can't get the nomination without conservative support. It is still a conservative party and many of those in the Senate who are spewing the amnesty line are conservative but for some reason want to pander to the MSM and the amnesty lobby.
Even though they surely know that when the election comes their allies of today will be in the Hillary camp tomorrow.

Have you ever noticed that Rush avoids naming Michael Savage and O'Reilly?
This week when quoting Mcain, Rush mention Savage as "some guy named Savage"
Im not being critical...just something I noticed. I will also add, I've never heard Rush down other radio talk show hosts. He's always respectful of them.
