I mean't on this thread, he was/is getting all the respect he deserves. Well, I've seen some pretty mean spirited things on this thread. He does deserve respect for his past service. However, I think he has lost his way. I need a hero in the Congress now. I need someone who is uncompromising, true to our founding fathers and not willing to bend our laws for political currency. McCain is not fitting the bill.
